Pistachio Twists (Serves 8)

Ingredients:

12 sheets of refrigerated puff pastry

400 g pistachio cream

1 egg + 3 tbsp milk + 1 g vanilla

100 g powdered sugar (for garnish)

100 g crushed pistachios


Preparation:

1. Roll out the puff pastry sheets to a thin layer using a rolling pin.


2. Spread pistachio cream over one sheet, then place another sheet on top.


3. Cut the layered pastry into strips and twist each strip.


4. Place the twisted strips on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush with the egg, milk, and vanilla mixture. Sprinkle with crushed pistachios.


5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15-20 minutes until golden.


6. Cool, then garnish with powdered sugar before serving
